The next Apex Legends event is making waves — literally. Respawn just revealed the first look at the upcoming beach-themed event, and it’s bringing a ton of fresh cosmetics, a major Arena’s DS twist, the long-awaited Sky Piercer universal heirloom, and a surprising amount of unannounced patch changes.

So grab your sunscreen and your Crafting Metals, because this is one of the most packed events we’ve seen in a while. Here’s everything coming in the Apex Legends Beach Event V2 update.

👙 New Beach Skins Are Here – And Respawn Knew Exactly What They Were Doing

Let’s not pretend: Respawn knows exactly which legends to put in these beach-themed events — and yes, Loba is back with another jaw-dropping summer skin.

Featured Beach Skins:

Loba – Stunning as always, complete with netted sleeves that look oddly like onion packaging (you’ll see it)
Watson – Hair out, scars showing, and a lot of fan service — this one’s going to fly off the shop shelves
Bloodhound – Surprisingly revealing skin with exposed arms, rare for their design
Conduit – A more modest beach look, but not the most impressive
Sparrow – The first beach skin for this legend and it’s actually a solid entry

All of these are craftable using crafting materials, which is huge — especially for a milestone event. Weapon skins, however, will require packs and can’t be directly crafted.

🌌 Universal Heirloom – Sky Piercer Debuts With Fireworks

The Sky Piercer is Apex’s next universal heirloom, and it’s not just flashy — it’s interactive. Respawn is clearly trying something bold here.

Key Features:

Shoots fireworks into the sky during inspect animations
Everyone in the lobby can see your fireworks
You drop with 1 free firework charge per match
Additional charges are likely earned by getting kills or in-game actions
Multiple variants will be sold, possibly with different firework colors/effects

🛠️ Stealth Patch Notes & Buffs

Respawn also dropped a surprise batch of patch changes — some of which were already live but unannounced until now.

Caustic:

Gas Trap duration doubled from 11 to 22 seconds
Enemy gas traps are now highlighted

Mirage:

Power Sword VFX no longer visible when cloaked

Wattson:

Energized Healer now heals as intended
Ultimate Conductor upgrade no longer charges incorrectly

Duels (Arena’s DS):

Abilities are now active in Arena’s DS!
Kills = Wins, and timeouts will now count as draws

System Fixes:

Better DMA detection
Fixed players sliding/interacting from too far away
Crash fixes, including pack-opening crashes
Newcastle revive bug (no shield) under investigation
Retro pack progress bugs being worked on

And yes — for the first time ever, Respawn included a section in the patch notes for known issues still being fixed, which is a much-appreciated dose of transparency.

🕒 When Does It All Go Live?

This entire event and patch go live on Tuesday at 6:00 PM UK / 10:00 AM PT. The update is already pre-installed into Apex builds, so you won’t need to download anything when it drops — it will simply activate.

And not long after? Season 26 trailers and reveals are expected to start. Fingers crossed for a long-overdue map update.
