Saudi Arabian esports organisation Twisted Minds has officially departed the Apex Legends competitive scene after just four months in the game. The exit follows the conclusion of the ALGS Midseason Playoffs, marking the end of a short but eventful stint.

Twisted Minds depart after four months

Twisted Minds first expanded into Apex Legends in June 2024. On August 30, 2025, the organisation confirmed that its North American roster of Mac Kenzie ‘Albralelie’ Beckwith, Kyle ‘Crook’ Hughes, Alexander ‘Enemy’ Rodriguez, and coach Haris ‘Hodsic’ Hodzic would be parting ways.

“Today, we bid farewell to our Apex Legends roster. We are grateful for theirefforts in representing Twisted Minds,” the organisation wrote on social media.

The team had previously competed under the Stallions banner before signing with Twisted Minds for the Midseason Playoffs at the Esports World Cup. With their departure, the Players and coach will now return to competing as Stallions.

Performance on the ALGS stage

The decision follows a disappointing 22nd-place finish at the Midseason Playoffs, which left Twisted Minds without Championship Points for the multi-million dollar Club Championship. Despite that result, the organisation still finished this year’s Club Championship in fourth place overall, earning an impressive $2.25 million (~£1.6m) in prize money.

Outside of the Playoffs, Twisted Minds had shown international potential, securing a top-six finish at the ALGS Open 2025 earlier this year.

What’s next for Stallions?

Now back under the Stallions banner, the roster has re-entered the second ALGS Pro League split for the Americas, running from August 31 to October 12. Thirty teams across North and South America are competing for a share of the $125,000 (~£92,271) prize pool, alongside valuable Championship Points.

Currently ranked 16th with 3,072 points, Stallions remain in contention for a top-24 placement in the Championship standings. The ultimate prize is a direct qualification spot for the ALGS 2026 Championship, set to take place in Sapporo, Japan, in early 2026.
