Respawn Entertainment has addressed a frustrating issue in Apex Legends that left some Players without their deserved Legendary items. The developers have now rolled out a fix and compensated affected players with Legendary Apex Packs.
Legend Pass Reward Bug Affected Players
In a tweet fromthe official Apex Legends developer account, Respawn acknowledged that an issue had prevented certain players from receiving their expected Legendary rewards. The problem specifically affected players who had completed a Legend Pass and already owned all weapon skins included in the Legendary Weapon Class Pack.
Instead of receiving an equivalent Legendary item, these players were left empty-handed. Respawn has since identified the issue, implemented a fix, and distributed compensation to ensure fairness.
Compensation: One Legendary Apex Pack Per Legend Pass
To make up for the error, Respawn has granted all affected players one Legendary Apex Pack per Legend Pass completed. Legendary Apex Packs are highly sought-after loot boxes that guarantee a Legendary-tier cosmetic item, making this compensation particularly valuable.
Players who were impacted by the bug should check their accounts to confirm that they have received the appropriate number of Legendary Apex Packs.
Ongoing Updates and Anniversary Celebrations
This fix arrives amid the ongoing Apex Legends: Takeover update, which brings new gameplay features, the introduction of Creator Commissions, and major balance changes. The update is part of the sixth Anniversary celebration, bringing fresh content and revitalizing the in-game experience.
Respawn has emphasized that they remain committed to monitoring Apex Legends closely and responding to player concerns. This latest fix reflects their continued effort to maintain a fair and engaging experience for the community.
For players who have yet to receive their Legendary Apex Packs, Respawn encourages them to restart the game and check their inventory. More details on recent updates can be found on the official Apex Legends website.
