Apex Legends fans, get ready for a whirlwind of updates! Alegends.gg is here to guide you through everything you need to know about the latest in-game changes, including returning LTMs, new store sales, and exciting bug fixes. If you’re a fan of Apex Legends, this is the update you’ve been waiting for.
New Store Sale: Academy and Vampire Themes
As we hit the halfway mark in the Temporal Chaos Collection event, Apex Legends is dropping some fantastic updates, including a brand new store sale. This sale features three unique skins themed after Academia, with standout designs for Horizon, Loba, and Wraith. Loba’s skin, complete with stylish glasses, definitely stands out as a must-have. In addition, these skins are part of a broader collection that also includes universal bframes and weapon skins.
But that’s not all. Mark your calendars for September 3rd, when the Vampire Hunter Store Sale kicks off. This sale brings an eerie new Bloodhound skin and an amazing Alter skin, which many fans are already claiming as one of the best in the game. Along with these, look out for the return of old fan-favorite skins like the Lyen Hunter for Loba, Sangen Bundle for Wraith, and Spectral Slayer Bundle for Horizon.
Pro tip: If you’re eager to snag these skins, don’t miss out on Thoron Smash’s giveaway! Just like, comment, and subscribe to his channel for a chance to win one of the new Academy store skins.
Returning LTM: Straight Shot Revival
In addition to these amazing skins, Apex Legends is reintroducing the Straight Shot as an LTM (Limited-Time Mode), but this time with a twist! The mode now includes Revival elements, allowing players unlimited respawns until the end of Round 3. Expect increased drop rates for Kimbo and LMGs, with guns already kitted, making the battles even more intense.
This LTM will run until September 3rd, coinciding with the Vampire Hunter store sale. What’s new this time? The mode now features only 30 players, and instead of jumpmasters, you’ll spawn above a random POI with another squad. Enemy highlights and health bars are enabled, adding an extra layer of strategy to your gameplay. However, some players have expressed concerns about the health bars—whether they stick around remains to be seen.
Additionally, players can earn unique badges in the Straight Shot Rumble, such as top 100 in the mode, participating in it, and more. So, don’t miss out on these limited-time rewards!
Bug Fixes and Upcoming Updates
Today’s update also promises several bug fixes that players have been eagerly awaiting. Here are some of the key fixes:
- PC Mouse Tracking: Fixes for mouse tracking issues during camera movement.
- R99 Glitch: The R99, which was supposed to be in the care package for quads but has been found on the ground, will finally be corrected.
- UI Improvements: Issues with map object icons and challenges like reviving squadmates 30 times have been addressed.
And great news for Duos fans! Duos mode will be returning on September 3rd and will be available until September 17th, right before the next big collection event or milestone. This is a highly anticipated return, so fingers crossed that it comes without any bugs or glitches.
