The brand-new Accolades system introduced in apex legends season 26 has hit a snag. Just one day after launch, Respawn has confirmed that a bug is causing constant pop-ups as if you’re earning new accolades non-stop — even when you’re not.
As a result, Accolades have been temporarily disabled until a fix is implemented.

What’s the Issue?
The issue lies with Accolade notifications, which are supposed to display brief XP achievements (like long-range kills, revives, and so on). But currently, Players are experiencing:
- Repeated notifications for accolades already earned
- Accolades appearing after every match, even when not triggered
- A cluttered and broken post-game experience
Respawn addressed the issue in a post, saying:
“We’re aware of an issue with Accolades notifications… We’ve temporarily disabled Accolades while we work on this.”
What Are Accolades?
If you missed the launch details, Accolades are a new progression system that reward XP based on in-game performance — such as kills, assists, revives, etc. They appear post-match and on your Gladiator Card to showcase your top performance traits.
You can earn up to 2,200 XP daily from accolades, making them a solid tool for battle pass progression.
